  14. I share Raymond Toy's surprise, but I would go further.  Why get rid
  15. of pk files that are clearly of local interest at the site?
  16. Once Karl's improvements to the various utilities have made it possible,
  17. I removed the "standard" set of compiled fonts altogether, and
  18. set about letting my font library grow naturally.  What I end up
  19. with is certainly not going to be what your site needs, but that
  20. is the whole point.  You end up with a font library that has
  21. a minimum of unused junk.  It is a bit slow for the first couple
  22. of documents, but from then on it is very satisfactory.
